- Acute onset and Fluctuating course
- Inattention
- Disorganized thinking
- Altered level of consciousness
Or CAMPS Physical
- Conscious levels impaired
- Attention impaired
- Memory (cognition) disturbed – poor concentration, distractible, speech incoherent
- Perceptual disturbance – visual hallucinations
- Short period of time (acute) phase and fluctuates
- Evidence may be related to a physical cause e.g. sepsis, hypoxia, electrolyte abnormality
