The following features can be used to distinguish a seizure from a faint:
CATCH A seizure:
- Confusion (post-ictal)
- Amnesia (post-ictal)
- Tongue-biting
- Cyanosis
- Headache (post-ictal)
- Aura (e.g. olfactory)
