The seven C’s
- Chest – infection
- Catheter – urinary tract infection
- CVP line – infection
- Cannula – superficial thrombophlebitis (remove cannula)
- Cut – wound infection
- Collection – Subphrenic/pelvic abscess (?failure of anastomosis)
- Calves – DVT
